BSNL to introduce Rs 429 plan to counter jio’s Rs 399 plan. From around 6 months, airtel and BSNL are following the plans of newcomer jio.
First it was Rs 399 plan of Reliance jio, which was followed by Bharti airtel. However the plan is running successfully for both the operators and it also helped Bharti airtel to retain its customer base.
This plan has been a win win situation for both the customers as well as for operators. Another plan of Rs 149 is also followed by the giant operator airtel. However the benefits are not same as Reliance jio offers.
What Rs 429 plan of BSNL does offer.
Leading operators are trying hard to give a befitting reply to Reliance jio plans but are not able to give. But BSNL may get success in this as they may launch 5G service by the end of 2018.
Further BSNL is going to introduce a new plan of Rs 429 and will offer 1GB of 4G data for 90 days + all the services free of cost.
Also customers can make on-net and off-net calls at 50 paise/min after the period of 90 days. The on-net SMS will cost 25 paise and off-net SMS costs 35 paise. These benefits of low call rate and Sms rate is valid for next 90 days .
So for the price tag of Rs 429, Customers are getting a validity of 180 days. However the benefits are divided in two sections. First section offers free services and second section offers low call rates and Sms rates : As per the reports.
Bsnl’s Rs 429 Plan to be applicable on these locations.
As per the reports this plan will be applicable to all the locations. However in Northeast circles like Jammu and Kashmir, this plan will have validity of 90 days only. Furthermore this plan will not be applicable to Kerala circle. BSNL is also withdrawing a few popular plans from the Kerala circle.
This is not the first time BSNL is trying to compete with Reliance jio, however this will not be the last time as well. It’s all about the cheapest plans now so let us see who win this war. But it is a customer who is getting the most benefits from these plans as the price of data packs have reduced around 60-80%.
Further calls are been provided free of cost , same is case with Sms’s . People used to pay 1000’s of Rs for these services and now they are paying 100’s of bucks only.
